Google, a worldwide-known Internet giant, which offers innovative solutions, at the same time accumulating enormous financial capital and absorbing significant human intellectual resource, was hungry for new ideas, so this autumn it came up with an idea of how to make the whole world work for it, and still to be able to select only the best of it...with no employees, no facilities, no pays or perks whatsoever.

ZGoogle has announced a prize competition for the needs of its open source development platform Android, in which the prize fund amounts to 10 million dollars! For Google it is peanuts, but for many companies, to be launched onto the global market by the world's best distributor is a dream come true. Allegedly, Google expects thousands of small companies to apply, of which many would later be engaged in new tasks, for only 50 of them will actually win the prize of aproximately 150,000 dollars each. The competition will be tough.

This is exactly what we did in Croatia two years ago. We started Vidi e-novation, an innovation contest which some hundred remarkable innovations have applied for so far. Some of the last year's winners of 'Tesla's egg', a symbolic award for best innovations, have already sold their solutions throughout the world, which confirmed our choice. Our prize funds are symbolic, but it is not the point, because soon we will set up a mechanism which will enable us to monitor innovations from the prototype to its capitalization, to be able to use their potential most efficiently.

We are now moved by an idea that we yearn to put into practice in cooperation with our partners. We would like to create a Croatian hub which would be a catalyst for the whole region, headed by Croatia. The goal is not to be avhieved easy, but we won't be alone. Individuals will found small companies. Small companies will change the large ones. Croatian large companies will change the world. We can change the world, from Croatia. It is not a joke.
